About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Works with Digital, Engineering, Manufacturing, IT Infrastructure, and Application Development organizations to design appropriate cloud technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company environments.
- Provides technical leadership and helps with best practices for cloud-based system and application security during the design and implementation.
- Develops client security platform requirements during the design of the client’s cloud architecture.
- Designs and develops security architectures for cloud and cloud/hybrid-based systems.
- Possesses a firm understanding of Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform security offerings.
- Designs and implements cloud-native and 3rd party architectures to meet business requirements with the appropriate security controls.
- Assists clients with the development of strategy, roadmaps, and deployment plans for enterprise information protection and cloud platform usage
- Maintains up-to-date, detailed knowledge of the IT security industry.
Requirements:
- Significant experience with WIZ CSPM building automated workflows for the platform
- Extensive experience implementing security for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in a public cloud environment
- Subject matter expertise with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT-related work
- Retain one or more of the following certifications: Azure – Solution Architect, Azure Security Engineer, AWS – Solution Architect, AWS – Security Specialty, GCP – Cloud Architect or GCP – Cloud Security Engineer
- Experience in solution architecture, DevSecOps practices, and cloud integration.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture for cloud-based services.
- Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, SAML, etc.).
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, Python, or Java
- 2-3 years overall Cloud architect experience
- Understanding of cloud security capabilities and risks
- Strong security inclination
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in professional experience
