Job Description
In this exciting role, you’ll be at the forefront of market intelligence, conducting vital research that shapes business decisions for international clients. Working directly with the company founder, you’ll gather and analyze critical market data, compile competitive intelligence, and craft insightful reports that drive strategic decision-making. This position offers unique exposure to diverse industries and markets, with the opportunity to leverage cutting-edge tools and AI technology to enhance research capabilities. Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive desk research across various industries and markets
- Gather and analyze competitive intelligence, including detailed website comparisons and pricing analysis
- Extract and synthesize key data points from premium research platforms and subscription-based services
- Compile market sizing and Total Addressable Market (TAM) analyses
- Monitor and document market trends across multiple sectors
- Create detailed research reports combining multiple data sources
- Support survey data analysis and interpretation
- Utilize AI tools to enhance research efficiency and report writing
- Collaborate with the business owner to refine research methodologies and approaches
Requirements
Essential:
- Exceptional English reading comprehension and writing abilities
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Advanced online research skills and Google search proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
- Experience in professional report writing and data presentation
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
- Availability during GMT morning hours (9am-1pm)
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SEMrush, Google Analytics, or similar analytics tools
- Experience with competitive intelligence tools (e.g., SpyFu, Tmoo)
- Background in market research or related analytical field
- Knowledge of AI writing tools and research automation
- Experience working with subscription-based research platforms
