About the Opportunity: We’re looking for an Integrations Tech Lead to scale our platform’s connectivity with key third party systems and support our growth into new markets. You’ll play a key role in driving our next wave of growth as you help us scale our connections to third party systems and deepen the capabilities we can offer to communities supporting the well-being of an aging population.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement integrations between Carefeed and EHRs, research databases, pharma data platforms, and other healthcare systems.
- Develop secure, scalable APIs to connect our platform with external data sources and applications.
- Design and maintain OAuth and authentication mechanisms for secure access to third-party systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations to maintain patient privacy and security.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and improve system observability, monitoring, and logging.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client experience teams to drive roadmap decisions related to platform integrations.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of backend or full-stack software engineering experience, ideally in Health Tech
- Experience with PHP and Laravel preferred
- Strong working knowledge of SaaS infrastructure, APIs, secure file transfers (SFTP), and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience integrating with systems like PointClickCare, MatrixCare, Epic, Cerner, Salesforce, Athena, Redox, or Kno2
- Experience with health tech environments and HIPAA/data privacy requirements
- Experience collaborating across engineering, product, support, and compliance teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup and influence technical direction cross-functionally
