Role Description
As a Senior Software Test Engineer (SDET), your main responsibilities would revolve around:
- Test planning, test automation, test execution, analysis, collaboration, and continuous improvement at GoTo.
- Increasing the bandwidth of team’s delivery speed by modernizing and maintaining test automation frameworks and test suites across various cross-functional teams.
- Deeply understanding our existing system and features.
- Becoming a lead SDET engineer in one of the ITSG teams and actively participating in creating and implementing the testing strategy across teams.
- Challenging continuously the “why” and how it serves customers.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant, professional software testing experience and mentoring experience.
- Experience in one or more programming languages like Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
- In-depth knowledge of various software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices (regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing).
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and libraries such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
