Summary:
A skilled and experienced SQL Scripter is sought to join the team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining SQL scripts for the Flexera database environment. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SQL, experienced in database management, and possess a solid understanding of the Flexera product suite, particularly regarding database interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL scripts for various tasks within the Flexera database environment, including data extraction, data analysis, custom reporting, and database automation.
- Create and execute SQL batches for custom reports in FlexNet Manager Suite compliance database.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and scripts to improve database performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with database administrators and developers to ensure smooth database operations and data integrity.
- Assist with database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- Ensure that SQL scripts align with Flexera’s database schema and best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all SQL scripts and database-related processes.
- Stay current with SQL best practices and Flexera database technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a SQL Developer or Scripter.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Familiarity with database administration, including database design, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Experience with Flexera products and databases, particularly FlexNet Manager Suite.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or Python for database automation is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
