• We’re building an AI agent for e-commerce – Zipchat.ai
• We believe the LLM revolution will change the way humanity shops. We’re trying to figure out how exactly.
• We work with hundreds of brands, we’re bootstrapped, we’re default-alive and we’re focused on innovating in the AI/Ecom space.
• We have a Shopify app, a Whatsapp app but we’re building on top of open standards so we can support all kind of merchants.

• Experience building RAG AI agents: 
  • LLM experience ( OpenAI, Anthropic, etc )
  • Retrieval ( embeddings / vector dbs )
  • Prompt engineering
• Dev skills 
  • Ruby on Rails 💎 – We run on rails
  • Python 🐍  – Some useful libs require Python
  • Experience with Web scraping & data storage
• Communication 
  • English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 – able to communicate without friction
  • Proactivity – able to communicate issues proactively, unstuck themselves and work as a team
• Mindset

• You’ll be in charge of improving our Agent performance/experience metrics and you’ll be judged by how much the agent improves over time.
• Coming up with ideas on how to improve the customer experience & agent performance
• Building new versions of the agent and testing them against the status quo
• Implementing new agent capabilities
• Improving scraping, data collection & storage

• We’re not a very social type of workplace – everyone works in their own lane and we sync ad/hoc
• You’ll be expected to ship

• We try to push to prod every day. 
  • We take “Ship fast and break things” to heart.
  • Also “monitor your own stuff and make sure you fix things if you break something” 🙂
  • Innovation velocity is our number one priority. We have no idea what will be useful to merchants and what won’t be, so we try to ship → collect feedback → ship → etc
• We’re a micro team 
  • We’re currently 3 founders, one of them is technical.
  • You’ll be working alongside the tech founder.
• You have the freedom to work however you like 
  • We’re fully remote
  • There’s no working time ( CET is our anchor time )
  • You’re expected to spend ~30 productive hours* per week on the project
  • Nobody cares if you moonlight, have a side hustle or you like to surf during the day – just do your job
• You will be writing code 99% of the time, no bureaucracy 
  • We have no meetings unless necessary ( async chat or loom is preferred )
  • We have no planning, no deadlines, no sprints, and no methodologies → We take the next task and try to ship it ASAP
• You figure things out, no babysitting 
  • You’ll need to come up with ways to improve the agent
  • You’ll be presented with “shaped”** features ( not too concrete, not too vague specs )
  • You’ll need to figure out how to build them following our product philosophy
  • Nobody will babysit you, you’ll need to get things done or ask for help proactively

• $6k per month ( $72,000 / year ) ( before tax )

• 2 week paid contract ( $2k ) 
  • We believe the only way to see if we’re a good fit is to do some work together
  • We’ll hire you for 2 weeks, see what we can achieve together
  • After, both sides can decide if they wish to continue working
