Senior WordPress Developer

Compensation:
USD 15 – 19/hour.

Remote (anywhere).

What makes you a strong candidate:

  • You are proficient in Google Lighthouse, quality assurance, WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and WordPress development.
  • English – Native or fully fluent.

Responsibilities and more:

  • Develop and maintain WordPress sites, including custom themes and custom designs.
  • Resolve technical bugs, migrate sites and optimize their performance.
  • Improve loading speed on desktop and mobile, applying metrics such as Google Lighthouse.
  • Work hand in hand with the marketing team, interpreting and executing technical requirements effectively.
  • Actively participate in development quality assurance (QA) and maintain high standards of accuracy and detail.
  • Create and troubleshoot email templates in HubSpot, and occasionally work on web development within the same platform.
  • Apply (or be willing to learn) web accessibility best practices (WCAG).

Requirements

  • Senior WordPress development experience, especially in custom sites.
  • Strong knowledge of web performance optimization (Google Lighthouse).
  • Attention to detail and strong focus on quality assurance (QA).
  • Previous experience with HubSpot, primarily in email template development and proofreading.
  • Knowledge of or interest in applying web accessibility best practices.
