The Opportunity As a pivotal member of our hiring partner’s nascent engineering team, you’ll:

Work closely with the CEO and CTO to bring products from 0 to 1

Have the autonomy to steer key architectural decisions and institute engineering best practices.

Dive into exciting greenfield initiatives: from crafting intuitive UIs for customer facing products and internal tools to facilitate human-in-the-loop AI, to developing scalable backend systems and state-of-the-art machine learning models

Requirements
-
Take full responsibility for project deliverables, demonstrate initiative, and proactively solve challenges.

4+ years of intense experience with backend software development: web application development, demonstrated mastery in at least a single language or framework, creating and maintaining CRUD API endpoints, working with relational databases, familiarity with Docker, Azure or GCP

Navigate engineering tradeoffs effectively, balancing speed with quality.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience in a software development role.

Nice to Have Familiarity with Typescript, Nodejs, Postgres, Redis, tRPC, Vercel

Experience in building search and recommendation systems

Prior roles as a tech lead and experience in the fast-paced startup environment.
