Market Director – Central Region

We are seeking strong candidates to represent our company in the position of Market Director.

Working in a niche luxury property market, interacting with high net worth individuals and luxury real estate professionals, this exclusive opportunity demands solid sales, presentation, follow-up and relationship building skills. This is a commission-only role best suited for high-performing, entrepreneurial professionals. The primary responsibility is to educate the regional market of the Company’s product and services and develop a pipeline of auction properties in the market.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Obtain real estate license within first 90 days if not currently holding an active license
  • Daily research to be an expert on both national and hyperlocal market real estate activity and trends
  • Self-generating agent and Seller leads for potential auction properties
  • Cultivating and sustaining real estate industry relationships to remain top of mind for potential auction opportunities
  • Conducting office presentations to educate the agent community on the Company’s products and services
  • Attend local networking events to educate influencers on the Company’s products and services
  • Liaise with the Company’s sales, marketing and PR teams to communicate sales efforts
  • Utilize the Company’s technology tools to build and maintain pipelines, track leads, report levels of interest and track KPIs.
  • Active prospecting to sign new auction opportunities in market
  • Showing active auction properties in market
  • Follow up with Company-generated seller leads, if applicable, answering their questions, and educating them about the Company’s products and services
  • Weekly team call attendance
  • Shadow active auction properties

Supported by a Regional Vice President and a strong in-house marketing and sales support department, this position requires a self-starter who is an expert on our product, passionate about the company vision, confident in their ability and dedicated to achieving their production goals. The MD is responsible for a dedicated market and may require occasional overnight travel. There is a potential to earn additional market territories if production quotas are met.

Requirements

Business Development

  • Proactive promotion of company auction services to prospective sellers and real estate agents
  • Real estate office presentations to educate agents about company services
  • Networking for consistent referrals from luxury real estate agents
  • Meeting with key influencers and business owners through local networking organizations
  • Investigate the luxury property market to find current and future auction opportunities
  • Data mining existing company database and resources to create new business opportunities
  • Work closely with Regional Vice President to prepare auction marketing proposals and auction marketing agreements for new clients
  • Structured daily prospecting and follow-up activities to meet goals and quotas
  • Consistent updating of company lead management CRM and other company tools

Auction Management

  • Host open houses for 4 – 5 weeks during auction marketing cycle
  • Befriend and leverage property listing agent for maximum support for current auction(s)
  • Act as key contact and communicator with the property seller for current auction(s)
  • Convert interested parties into formal bidders and manage a pipeline of bidder leads with consistent follow-up
  • Meet with local real estate agents to build interest and drive traffic to current auction(s)
  • Assisting in-house marketing department with property and area promotion
  • Promote current and have knowledge of other company auctions through targeted real estate office and luxury agent meetings
  • Utilize company database to find potential bidders for current auction(s)
  • Represent the property and company with proper dress and etiquette
  • Leverage of expense account for maximum return on investment
  • Daily updating of company CRM and social media platforms
  • Assist with auction day events and post-auction activities
