Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven mining account manager to lead business development and sales efforts across the Middle East and Africa for our Fire Assay and General Mining Laboratory solutions. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background in mining laboratory processes and a proven track record in regional sales.

  • Drive sales of fire assay equipment, consumables, and general laboratory solutions to mining clients across MEA.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with mining companies, laboratories, and government agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical consultation on fire assay processes, sample preparation, and analytical instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and post-sales support.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely installation, training, and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM updates.
  • Report regularly to senior management on performance, challenges, and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Geology, Mining Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in mining laboratories, preferably with fire assay expertise.
  • Strong understanding of sample preparation, fire assay, and analytical techniques (e.g., AAS, ICP, XRF).
  • Proven ability to manage a large territory and travel extensively across MEA.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic or French is a plus.

Requirements

  • Experience working with mining majors, assay labs, or OEMs in the MEA region.
  • Familiarity with ISO 17025 and other relevant laboratory standards.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
