Job Description
We’re seeking a talented Motion Designer to be the creative force behind an ambitious 35-video educational course that will impact traders’ learning and development worldwide. This is an exceptional opportunity to combine your motion design expertise with financial education, creating visually compelling content that makes complex trading concepts accessible and engaging. You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced trader and course creator, ensuring authentic and impactful educational content that resonates with the trading community. This project-based role offers the chance to build something meaningful from the ground up while working with flexible, remote-first arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Create custom animations and motion graphics for educational trading content
- Animate engaging visuals based on provided voice overs and detailed scripts
- Design and edit comprehensive video content for the complete course series
- Collaborate closely with the course creator on visual concepts, execution, and creative direction
- Develop graphics and visual elements that align with the course’s professional feel and educational objectives
- Communicate regularly through digital channels, sharing clips, videos, and creative ideas
- Ensure all visual content meets high educational standards and financial industry expectations
- Iterate on designs based on feedback to achieve the perfect course aesthetic
Requirements
- Proven experience in motion design and animation, with preference for educational and financial content
- Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant motion design work and creative capabilities
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in motion design and video production
- Ability to illustrate graphics that can be effectively animated and integrated
- Excellent communication skills for seamless remote collaboration
- Flexibility to coordinate across time zones when meetings are required
- Willingness to accommodate UK business hours (8am-5pm GMT) for key coordination sessions
- Availability for occasional evening coordination calls (up to 7pm UK time)
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative spirit
