What You’ll Do:
- Mentor and support a team of data analysts, data scientists, backend engineers, and data engineers, creating a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Build our next-gen identity graph, leveraging data analytics, data science, and machine learning, in addition to our rich suite of data sources.
- Define and drive the technical vision for our identity and attribution solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
- Oversee the design and development of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines that power identity and attribution
- Champion engineering best practices like code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/deployment
- Jump in with hands-on technical guidance when needed to unblock the team or provide architectural support
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end, identifying risks and managing dependencies along the way
What You’ll Bring:
- 15+ years of technical experience in data engineering, data analysis, or other related fields
- 5+ years of data science and/or machine learning experience
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-traffic platforms
- Strong understanding of SQL, distributed SQL-based data warehousing, and operational PostgreSQL databases
- Experienced with NoSQL databases, being able to argue for or against them depending on the application, and in particular, recognizing how to leverage graph databases
- Strong understanding of modern data pipelining technologies (e.g., Spark)
- Experience with Google Cloud or Amazon Web Services
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with ad tech platforms, ad tech concepts, and/or identity and attribution is a plus
