The Fulfillment Plant Optimizations team is in a critical position within the entire organization as we are directly responsible for the introduction of new products that the company is able to sell to customers. We also work directly with stakeholders to think of and implement solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the production of most of the physical products within the manufacturing plants that use our software.
As a principal software engineer on the Fulfillment Plant Optimizations squad, you will be part of a group of engineers responsible for delivering direct value to the Cimpress business while working on software used in manufacturing plants throughout the world. Engineers in this area work closely with stakeholders from the merchant and fulfiller sides to deliver solutions that are used for ingesting, manufacturing, and delivering products that our customers order.
- Be part of a squad of four engineers with the expectation of being a technical expert.
- Be accountable for the technical excellence of the squad’s work by assisting in software design, promoting technical standards, participating in code reviews, and advocating for quality.
- Write code in our modern stack: C# + .NET Core, AWS
- Be a technical mentor for the other squad members.
- Participate on the Fulfillment leadership team with other senior engineers and leaders.

- 10+ years of industry experience writing commercial software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluency in English.
- Experience and expertise with writing object-oriented back-end software and web-based network services.
- Experience with both database programming and front-end programming.
- Experience using .NET and C#.
- Experience using AWS.
- Be familiar with best security practices.
- Prior experience working directly and communication with stakeholders.
