Your Role

The Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst will be an experienced and strategic-minded professional, with a passion for improving healthcare through technology. In this role, you will perform data quality management processes that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of our organization’s data. The ideal candidate will have demonstratable skills in data quality management, critical thinking skills, strong SQL skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

 

Primary Functions of the Sr. IT Quality Assurance Analyst Include:
  • Conduct regular quality assurance audits. Evaluate various stages of production, processes, and final outputs to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
  • Develop and refine testing processes including design tests that assess product or service quality, efficiency, and performance.
  • Define and implement automated testing frameworks and drive adoption of tools and methodologies that increase efficiency and repeatability of testing processes.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements at a strategic level, identifying opportunities for proactive quality improvements and process redesign before development begins.
  • Lead cross-functional QA strategy efforts, collaborating with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to define testing standards, coverage, and automation approaches across teams.
  • Monitor data quality and process efficiency and report findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure that data meets or exceeds stated requirements by understanding them and ensure the quality benchmarks align with those needs.
  • Identify shortcomings and potential enhancements and contributes to data development and refinement.
  • Analyze test results to identify patterns, problems, and areas for improvement. Recommend solutions to rectify data issues, improve production and operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and eliminate waste.
  • Document test plans, procedures, results, and improvement recommendations to track progress and ensure accountability.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging QA tools, technologies, and industry trends, making recommendations to improve the QA function and support scalability.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

You accept things change quickly in a startup environment and are willing to pivot quickly on priorities. · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required; in lieu of a degree 8+ years of experience in data quality roles may be considered · 5+ years of experience in data quality roles required

  • 2+ years of experience in cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or Redshift
  • Be proficient in data quality tools, SQL, and other relevant technologies. A familiarity with data profiling and cleansing tools is an asset and database CI/CD knowledge is a plus
  • Be a quick learner as a QA must be able to quickly grasp new concepts, technologies, and processes to effectively adapt to changing quality standards and production methods
  • Be proactive with a keen eye for detail to identify minor issues that, if left unaddressed, could lead to bigger problems
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex data quality issues, interpret data, understand complex processes, and make informed decisions
  • Be a strategic thinker with the ability to align data quality initiatives with broader business objectives
  • Have technical creativity and operate independently, yet be effective in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and be adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Have strong teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments and teams. Must be able to work with users at all levels of skills and abilities
  • Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Also, clear and concise written communication skills are essential to create understandable test documentation, reports, and recommendations

 

The base pay range for this role is $94,300.00 – $108,400.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
