Video Editor

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor (Virtual Assistant) to join our team. You will play a key role in enhancing and repurposing video content for a business coaching company. Your work will help expand the brand’s reach by creating engaging, high-quality videos for social media, courses, webinars, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit and enhance video content for YouTube, social media (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook), online courses, and webinars.
  • Cut, trim, and add transitions, subtitles, captions, graphics, and effects to improve engagement.
  • Repurpose long-form content into short, engaging clips for social media distribution.
  • Ensure videos align with brand identity, including style, tone, and messaging.
  • Optimize video content for different platforms, including aspect ratios and formats.
  • Source and integrate stock footage, music, and sound effects when necessary.
  • Manage and organize video files and ensure content is stored efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the content team to create compelling visual storytelling.
  • Implement feedback efficiently and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Stay up to date with video editing trends and social media best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a remote or virtual assistant role.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
  • Must have basic animation skills. Ability to animate objects rather than just adding stock video and subtitles.
  • Strong ability to create engaging, high-quality content tailored to social media trends.
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of video optimization for different social media platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to necessary editing tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with business coaches, consultants, or personal brands.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content editing and automation.
  • Understanding of SEO for video content (e.g., YouTube metadata optimization).
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator) are a plus.

Benefits

  • SALARY: $ 1,200 PER MONTH + BONUS COMMISSION
  • TYPE OF Work: Full FULL TIME (REMOTE), 40 HRS PER WEEK (MONDAY TO FRIDAY)
  • WORK SCHEDULE: AUSTRALIAN TIMEZONE
