Your Mission
We’re hiring an AI Engineer to lead automation across our business operations. Your mission is to build internal tools and AI-driven workflows that reduce manual work, streamline key processes, and empower our teams to move faster and smarter.
You’ll work directly with leaders in Ops, Product, Customer Success, and Support to identify inefficiencies and design solutions using tools like Python, GPT, Zapier, Retool, and custom APIs. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a one-person “internal innovation engine,” this is it.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and automate high-impact, repetitive workflows across the company
- Build reliable AI agents, process automations, and internal tools that scale
- Launch quick POCs, gather feedback, and convert them into stable production systems
- Track time savings and report on ROI for every project you deploy
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to drive adoption and maximize impact
- Create and manage our internal “Automation Library” of reusable solutions
- Stay on top of emerging AI trends and proactively propose new solutions
You’re a Great Fit If You…
- Have 3–6+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or ML
- Are fluent in Python, APIs, and platforms like Zapier, LangChain, or Retool
- Can take a vague manual process and turn it into a crisp, elegant solution
- Write clean, maintainable code — even for internal workflows
- Communicate well with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Obsess over time saved and love showing off your impact
- Are deeply curious, humble, and biased toward action
Bonus Points
- Experience building internal AI assistants or automating company operations
- Familiarity with multifamily, SaaS, or operations-heavy businesses
- Contributions to open source or AI tools
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- 2+ manual workflows fully automated and in production
- Measurable time savings across at least 2 departments
- Positive feedback from internal users and clear adoption
- Initial roadmap and automation dashboard in place
